In a busy office at the holidays, there's bound to be wait time. From our friends at Vroom, here's one of our favorite activities you can share with families to do while they wait in the exam room.
Super-Silly Handshake
Before stepping out of the room, try asking caregivers to make a super-secret special handshake with their child that only the two of them know. Suggest that they take turns adding new moves like a snap, a clap or a fist pump. As they add more, they can practice until they both have it down. Sharing moments like these helps children feel a special connection with their parents.
