We've created a suite of free resources to promote positive parenting behaviors and strong parent-child relationships within everyday healthcare moments. Read more below:
Access NowAn online curriculum that demonstrates how providers can promote brain development and help strengthen parent-child relationships within the confines of routine well-child visits. This 4 hour curriculum can be accessed online or via our mobile app. Trainee access is granted via your residency program, or you can request access as a faculty member or practicing provider. See a map of enrolled programs and watch a quick video on how the curriculum is used in residency training.
Sparks is a video curriculum that blends the discussion of age-related health, safety, sleep and nutrition topics with practical ways to promote cognitive, social, emotional development and build strong parent-child relationships. Each 8-minute video can be shared with families via text or by visiting the Sparks website. You can also use the videos yourself to brush up on anticipatory guidance and developmental milestones from birth to age 5.
Caring For Your Newborn is a 35-minute newborn education and discharge class that addresses routine infant care, common parent questions, and ways to promote brain development and parent-child connection. Share this video with postpartum families during their inpatient stay or at discharge, or watch it yourself to assist in well-baby nursery rotations.
In partnership with the Bezos Family Foundation, we've created integrated design elements and staff training to spark brain-building interactions during everyday healthcare moments.
