Parenting Is Good For Adult Brains

Research conducted by scientists from Rutgers and Yale universities suggests that becoming a parent may lead to enhanced brain activity and interconnectedness, potentially offering some protection against age-related cognitive decline. Essentially, having children could positively impact brain health as people grow older. That is some great news to share with parents - especially as the daily stressors parents face feel like they are continuously mounting. Let them know they are working their brains in a healthy way - even if it hurts just as much as hitting the gym.
