When you’re waiting with your child, explore the things in your bag or pockets. Ask your child, “What do you think I am going to find?” Talk about the things you pull out. Ask, “What is this used for? How does it feel?”
Brainy Background powered by Mind in the Making: Narrating your experience helps build your child’s vocabulary – and her brain. Speak in full sentences, it’s okay to use words that your child doesn’t know yet. That’s how she learns!
